Panechay Hunt

Director and Head Coach

Coach for 18u Girls & 16u Boys

Panechay has coached for over 20 years. She started coaching at Piedmont VBC, which then became Piedmont Triad VBC. She is currently the Director of NC Power & Sand VBC as Glenn has stepped down from this role to live his best life in Texas!

Panechay is CAP 2, BCAP (Beach Coaching accreditation program) and Beach Impact certified.

Panechay has coached at Page High School, Grimsley High School, Kiser Middle School, Mendenhall Middle School and has assisted Wheatmore High School.

Mike Register

Head Boys Coach

18u Boys Coach

Coach Mike has been around the game of volleyball for nearly 30 years. Mike is returning for his 13th year with NC Power and Sand VBC after a brief hiatus. He has coached all age groups and was instrumental in helping bring boys volleyball back to the Triad in the 2010s. Along with coaching indoor and sand for the club he coached 4 years at St Pius X in their co-ed middle school program.
